Train OC Summer Camps go “back to basics” by focusing on movement fundamentals- running, jumping, climbing, rolling, and balancing- experienced through the thrill and excitement of one of today’s fastest growing sports- obstacle course!
Campers will receive expert instruction and learn proper obstacle course technique. They’ll scale the walls, master the cargo net, conquer the rope tower and cultivate leadership and teamwork through a series of fun yet challenging movement mastery games.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, our summer camps provide a unique outdoor fitness experience your child will never forget!

About Trainoc
Founded in 2012 by elite fitness coach, world class athlete and United States Army veteran James Short, Train OC was created to bring the fun and excitement of obstacle course racing (OCR) to local neighborhoods in order to provide fitness education and encourage healthy habits for life.
Our programs utilize leadership principles developed by the United States Armed Forces to cultivate communication, teamwork, and social-emotional awareness. Campers experience a variety of different obstacle course challenges and have FUN while improving fitness and making new friends.

General Information:
Where are camps located?
Camps will be located at local parks or schools along the front range.
Check back frequently as we will be announcing new dates and TBA locations as they are confirmed.

What time is camp?
Camps are held weekdays from 9am-3pm.
*Please note that early drop off/ late pick up is not available at this time*
What is the minimum/ maximum participant age?
Train OC summer camps are open to children of all fitness levels ages 6-13. We require our campers to have completed 1st grade/ going into 2nd grade for minimum age requirements.
How can I update my camper’s information/ update registration?
Please email us at info@trainoc.com and reference your name, child’s name, and camp dates to update your camper profile.
What should my child bring to camp?

What is your staff to camper ratio?
We strive to maintain a ratio of one staff member for every 10 campers.
What are your health and sanitizing procedures?
We will be monitoring and following current Douglas County health policies and procedures for outdoor events. Click here to view the latest county health requirements. Additionally, we disinfect obstacle course stations between groups and provide ample opportunity for handwashing and sanitizing between stations, before and after breaks, etc. *If your child is ill on their scheduled camp date we would be happy to reschedule to a later date. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. *
When does camp registration close?
We will close camp registration when the date sells out or at 6pm the night before the next day’s camp.

What is your weather policy?
We all know Colorado weather can be unpredictable, especially in the summer! Our camps will be held rain or shine and we have selected camp locations with shelters in case of inclement weather.
What is your refund policy?
If for any reason you are unable to attend camp, a 50% refund will be offered up to three weeks prior to camp start date. No refunds will be given three weeks prior to the start of camp. You may elect to transfer your camp to another week depending on availability. Please contact us for information.
Our schedule has changed. Can we switch to another camp?
It is possible to transfer your camp as long as the session requested is not currently full. Please contact us for details.
